In choosing your DJ or band for your wedding, do
not choose the cheapest or a friend of a friend without considering the
background, taste, personality, expertise, equipment and
professionalism. It is the most important time of your life and you
should have the best music that only a professional and experienced DJ
or Band can provide.
Prices range from $300 to $1500. "$1500 for
one night? Are you a doctor?" When you hire a DJ or band, you are
not only hiring his expertise but also his instruments and party
lighting system. DJ's and Bands are professionals in their field and
should be paid as professionals. Of all the services involved in the
wedding celebration, this is the most important for the bride to decide,
as almost everybody she knows will have a friend or relative who does it
"on the side" and "will not charge too much, only for
expenses".
Saving a bit of money should not compromise the
quality of your wedding experience. Shoddy equipment and minimal
unprofessional party lighting is good for a house party and not for your
wedding. You will be spending a good part of your wedding with the DJ so
make sure you get the best for the price you can afford.
